Take a single class, take all classes, take any combination of classes. They are each independent of all the others.

When and Where? Online, using the Zoom platform.

  • Mondays at 4 PM (Paris) from November 2 to December 7

  • Wednesdays at 9 PM (Paris) from November 4 to December 9

  • Saturdays at 5 PM (Paris) from November 7 to December 12

These are the remaining classes and the things you’ll need to gather if you wish to participate.

  • Saturday, November 28: Hammers, scissors, knifes, forks, spoons, spatulas; work tools and kitchen utensils. You probably only need four or five such objects, but it’s nice to have a lot of them at your disposal.

  • Monday, November 30: Homage to Giacometti. You’ll need one or more Bics or other ballpoint pens.

  • Wednesday, December 2: Roses and other flowers. One or two fresh roses, for instance; or a varied bouquet.

  • Saturday, December 5: Big and bold. We’ll use markers (in French: feutres) and A3 paper. You can buy an A3 notebook or get A3 sheets of paper from an office-supply store. Have markers of different thicknesses if possible. If you don’t want to buy A3 paper, buy a roll of Kraft paper (many supermarkets have them) and just unroll it at your work desk when we meet.

  • Monday, December 7: Homage to Paul Klee: We’ll use colored pencils. The absolute minimum is two colors, but the more colors, the better! I think you’ll enjoy doing one or more of the exercises on an A3 sheet of paper, though this isn’t obligatory.

  • Wednesday, December 9: Stuffed toys, a Teddy Bear, tigers, ducks, dinosaurs, etc. It’d be wonderful for you to have more than one toy. If you don’t have any in the house, borrow or buy. I really think it’s good to have stuffed toys at home, so buy!

  • Saturday, December 12: gather a few photos of yourself at various ages: baby, toddler, tween, adolescent, young adulthood. Scan these photos ahead of time if you wish.
