Patrick Macdonald: A Reminiscence

I studied with Mr. Macdonald between 1983 and 1986. Although my times with him are now more than fifteen years behind me, I still think of him daily, and always with gratitude. In this article I plan to describe my apprenticeship with Mr. Macdonald, my impressions and feelings from my three years with him, my learning experiences in his and in Shoshana Kaminitz's hands, and the ways in which his presence continues to touch my life and, indirectly, that of my pupils.
