Seminars, Master Classes, and Lessons

My work with musicians is wide-ranging and ever-evolving. Its substance embraces the traditional approaches of Alexander teachers (dealing with issues of co-ordination, tension and relaxation, balance, reflex, habit, and awareness), the application of the Alexander Technique to every area of music-making (technique, sound production, interpretation, daily practice, concert preparation, and the mitigation of stage fright), and musical coaching that includes analysis, ear training, aesthetics, and an innovative and highly effective study of rhythm.

My work takes the form of private lessons, lecture-demonstrations, master classes, and seminars.

If you're interested in taking private lessons in Paris or during my world travels, or if you wish to be put on my e-mailing list for forthcoming events, please e-mail me.

The basis for my seminars is my language-based approach to rhythm. Read a description of my book in progress, The Integrated Musician.
