Backtracked: The Movie! (well, almost)
Monday, February 8, 2010 at 06:00AM My novel Backtracked was published last year. It recounts the story of Tommy Latrella, a young man in search of freedom after his brother's death in New York City. This book trailer, created by Dale Trott, puts you in Tommy's world.

Great book trailer, Pedro! I loved the historical pics!
Thanks, Angela. I got most of the pics from the Library of Congress website. For history buffs it's a treasure trove!
Stay in touch. -- Pedro
Wow! Love it. Great music, obviously. Pitch perfect look --
it's in total harmony with the story. Why not leave the end
credits up a second or two longer. Good work deserves to
be recognized.
Cheers,
Tioka
Thanks, Tioka. It was a lot of fun shaping it. And the guy in Australia who put it together was a great collaborator. If ever you need a movie producer/technician...
Best, -- Pedro
Perfect, Pedro!
Captures the book - which I loved, by the way - to a T!!
Thanks for inspiration and best of luck with Backtracked!
Sarah
Sarah, that you liked the book pleases me even more that you liked the trailer! ;)
What a fun thing to do, Pedro. It really captures the flavor of the book. The Princeton library is still featuring your book on the "new titles" table. Kids must like it!
Claudia, when I'm rich and famous the Princeton library will hold a special place in my heart! ;)
I hope you're having a productive and enjoyable time out there. Best, -- Pedro
I haven't read the book yet, but now I REALLY want to!
Like Tioka, I enjoyed the music choice. Is it Irish?
Also appreciated the timely filming of the "NO EXIT" subway sign.
Bravo for all the good work!
Jeanne
Thanks, Jeanne! Now get off the Internet and go read BACKTRACKED already! ;) -- Pedro
Fantastic, Pedro! Great trailer, and what excellent critic blurbs! Congratulations to you, and all the best with more continued success, with this book and all those to come...
Alice, thanks for the nice words! Here's hoping you're having a productive and enjoyable time with your own projects. -- Pedro
